My Granddaughter likes helping her mom in the kitchen, therefore her mom bought her Play Food, and a Chef’s Gear.
That still didn’t keep her from wanting to be Mom’s Little Helper. Here she is at work:
Until my next post, Be Blessed.
Oh! she’s adorable! I like having these little helpers mine too is very interested in cooking, loves to be around me in the kitchen
Thanks, and it is good that they take that upon themselves. Thanks for stopping by, and commenting. Say hello to your little one for me. Be Blessed, Mtetar
I was a teacher in elementary school – I think the very best thing you can do for any kid’s education is to let them participate in real world tasks like that. It helps so much in math and science, and even in reading, because when they read stories they understand what the characters are doing. Most importantly, it teaches them that they can accomplish things; they don’t have to sit back and let others do it. I saw it over and over again with my students. Her future teachers will be so grateful for all the work you are doing with her!
Thank you so much for such warm, and encouraging comments. Your Teaching Skills are shown on your blog. Thank you for all you’re sharing it helps. I look forward to sharing. Be Blessed, Mtetar
Oh yes, I know this all too well! We have a play kitchen and play food and there is just nothing the kids would rather do than be in the “real” kitchen with me!! She is just too darling!
Thank you Melissa! Also for stopping by so often. Have a great weekend. Kind regards to all. Mtetar
Both of my sons followed me around the kitchen and had their favorite specialties that only they did (usually involved puddings or Jello!). Now, at 42 and 45 years, both of them do major cooking/grilling in their families. such a sweet post…….blessings, Doreen
Wow! Doreen that is great that they kept up with cooking now big time. My Grandson likes cooking also, and wants to do that in the future. Thank you so much for this comment it is so encouraging. Also thanks for stopping by. Mtetar
