Hello!!!
I’m THANKFULto God for allowing us to have a Blessed Week. My granddaughter likes, and enjoys lacing. I thought being that she likes lacing, why not incorporate it into our numbers, and letters activities of learning. My thinking that was a great idea, because she learned to lace nicely, and learned New Words like next, and after.
She made a Paper Pillow stuffed with scraps of fabric. We first prepared our material (Brown Grocery Paper Bag) by designing it.
Next, I cut the designed paper into a square shape, punched some holes with a paper puncher, added some numbers, and she began lacing.
Next, it was time to stuffed the Paper Pillow Case with scraps of fabric.
Our Finished Project:
Here are two more Lacing Projects by numbers, and letters.
Pics of other time spent.
Until my next post, Be. Blessed Everyone!

She’s going to be cross-stitching in no time at all

Thank you Avis x! She loves it, and she might teach me how to cross stitch. Thanks for your uplifting comment. Be BLESSED, Mtetar
She might already be able to sew on something like 6 count binca fabric which has the holes spaced quite far apart. That’s what I learned on when I was small and it is still made now. It can be sewn with a blunt needle. Avis x
WOW! Thanks for suggesting, and where can I find such? Sewing, Fabrics, Crafts, or specifically for that kind of craft Store? I’ll like to consider that for her, and even myself. Thanks, Avis x. Mtetar
Hi Mtetar, you will be able to get it on-line, maybe on Ebay or a good craft/fabric store. I’ve put a link to a picture of a needle case I made when I was very small. It is very grubby and still used today but you’ll see it is easy to make lovely patterns on this fabric and it comes in lots of lovely bright colours.
