Hello Everyone!
Hope all is well, and Blessed as I’m. The quilt I’m about to share is one I truly like because it is in a class by itself. It has no theme, style, pattern, and the color is sort of faded. As soon as I can get more scraps/fabric for the backing it will be completed. I started this quilt before the previous one.
Now that I’ve a little more idea of quilting, by the time this quilt is finished this side will probably become the back. Kindly feel free to comment letting me know what you think. Thank you in advance.
Here it is! Truly Novice & Scrappy.
Until my next post, Be Blessed Everyone.

Thanks Izabel! Have a Blessed, and Wonderful Weekend! Mtetar
The BACK!!!!! NO! don’t do that~I like it a lot!! You can make it reversible (if you make a special back) but this is so nice! Be sure and label it so you have the info for future stories!! Hugs, Doreen
WOW D! I didn’t expect this at all. Thanks for the advice also, and I’m sure to follow it. I’m truly appreciative of your comment because of your gift with quilting. Have a Blessed and Wonderful Weekend! Mtetar
Sorry….a little too strong? I spoke the truth….it has such a cozy look that is so appealing. Guess it was my “Type A” personality coming through a little loud…hehe~luv ya (and your quilting!). “Practice makes perfect (or, at least, a lot better.)”, Doreen
Yes I agreed, and also try, try until you succeed. Be Blessed, Mtetar
I could not agree more……I really do believe we are “kindred spirits”/sisters in Christ!
Thanks, confirmation of The Word. Be Blessed, Mtetar
I know next to nothing about quilting, but I think the process and finished product would be enjoyable! I think no matter what the colors or styles are, a quilt tells stories (and keeps people cozy). Good work! –Alison
That is so True, Alison. Thanks so much for the comment, also for visiting. Be Blessed, and Have A Wonderful Weekend! Mtetar
I like it too! Looks like a LOT of work went into it — truly a labor of love.
Hi Joan! Thanks so much for visiting, and commenting. I do it for the fun of creating, and under no pressure. If the scraps/fabrics were available I would do a much better job. Most times it’s random pick with the little I’ve. Have A Blessed, and Wonderful Weekend! Be Blessed, Mtetar
Oh my goodness Mtetar!!! This is absolutely fabulous! I could sit here and stare at it all day long!! You have a true talent! I just can’t get over that you call yourself a novice!!! This is so amazing!! Have a great weekend! Melissa
Melissa, thank you so much for such warm, and uplifting comment. I’m very much appreciative of your thoughts, and also your visits so faithfully. Being supportive is such a good feeling for all. May your day Be filled with God’s Blessings. Regards to your family. Be Blessed, Mtetar
Oh Mtetar…..to relegate this work of art to the back of a quilt would be so wrong. Besides, if this is the back, how amazing is the front going to be? I love all the fabrics you’ve used. Please give it the respect it deserves and make it the front. In fact, make a wall hanging. It’s gorgeous and would be beautiful at the bed head

Thank you! Be Blessed, Mtetar
Don’t you dare make that the back! That is what quilting is all about, just using up scraps that we have. Each piece of fabric tells a little story about something else in our lives. It’s lovely!
Thank you, and that’s so true about quilting. Your comment, and visit means so much to me. Thanks for encouraging me to further my skills in quilting. Be Blessed, Mtetar
