LAST POST for 2012

Posted on

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all are Blessed by God’s Grace, on this last day of 2012. I’m more than Blessed to have celebrated Christmas with my family, and each day afterwards.

It is not quite two months yet, since I started blogging. I’m both thankful, and grateful to have met, and shared with so many New Friends.

I will like to extend my thanks, and appreciation to ALL my followers, visitors, commentators, and those that clicked the Like Button.

A few days have passed since my last post. I felt it would be nice to add one more post, before 2013, if God is willing.

Weather wise on my side of town it is very cold, and we had a little bit of snow compared to other places.

Some indoors activities during the snow were learning to put a Nine Piece Puzzle together, buttons, and snaps fastening, and of course Free Play. My granddaughter likes working with the Snap button, maybe for the sound. She is coming along, but haven’t got it accomplished as yet.

Today we worked with numbers, little with puzzle, and our New Big Busy Box/Block.

A Special NECKLACE

Posted on

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to share my granddaughter’s recent activity with you all. She learned to lace with yarn on a cardboard punched with holes, and with Construction Paper rolled into small tubes, and with some glue a necklace was made.

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a Blessed Christmas, and the day after is the same. God is good, and my family and I were more than Blessed.

The weather outside is cold, and cloudy, but inside we are having a wonderful time. My granddaughter was excited about her doll’s Play Clothes, and wanted something similar.

Here are some PHOTOS:

SIX OUT of One

Hi Everyone!

I’m Grateful for another Blessed Weekend, and I hope you all are.

The weather on my side of town is raining, and cold.

I’m Blessed with more strength to have completed another project. This project was made from a Sweatshirt.

The Sweatshirt was cut around the Crew Neckline, cut off the sleeves, cut the body of the Sweatshirt midway, and turned it into a Reversible Vest.

image

Next, I used the bottom, the piece that was left from the Vest, and used that for the top of a Drawstring Reversible Skirt.

Next, I used the Sleeves, and turned that into a Reversible Tote Bag.

Here are the Fabrics used, two different prints.

Hi Everyone!

Hope you all are, as I’m praying for the Families of the SANDY HOOK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TRAGEDY. Our prayers, flowers, calls, cards, visitation, etc. can’t bring there Love Ones back, but can bring them some comfort, assuring them that we care, and that we are one.

My Deepest Condolences to the Families.

Prayer is the Key.

Creative Play and Learn House

Posted on

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all are having Blessed Day as my Granddaughter, and I. We had a fun, creative day, by building a Play and Learn House.

Out of a huge box, I cut out some shapes for Windows, made a door, glued on some Art Work of doodling, and last Month’s Calendar Page, and even added some Shapes on that page. Inside of the house we glued on extra paper for more doodling.
