Hello Everyone !

How is the weather on your side of town? My side of town is cold, therefore Im thankful The Good Lord gave me an idea for this project. I had both fabrics sitting for a while and couldn’t think of what to do with them. One of the fabrics  is velvet and the other wool pin stripe which are warm fabrics.

Here are the pics :

NO Pattern, Theme, & S C R A P P Y

Hello Everyone!

Hope all is well, and Blessed as I’m. The quilt I’m about to share is one I truly like because it is in a class by itself. It has no theme, style, pattern, and the color is sort of faded. As soon as I can get more scraps/fabric for the backing it will be completed. I started this quilt before the previous one.

Now that I’ve a little more idea of quilting, by the time this quilt is finished this side will probably become the back. Kindly feel free to comment letting me know what you think. Thank you in advance.

Here it is! Truly Novice & Scrappy.

Novice SCRAPPY Q

Hi Everyone,

Hope all is well, and Blessed as I’m. I’m a Novice when it comes to quilting, and I’ve been, and still working on what I’m calling My Novice Scrappy Q (Quilt). I’m using up scraps given to me by friends, and some I purchased from Thrift Shops, and the Salvation Army. It is not the best, but I’m having fun doing it. Here’s what I’ve done so far.

THE Weekend

Posted on

Hello Everyone!

Once again, hope you all had a Blessed Weekend as my granddaughter, and I did. The weekend was busy, challenging, yet fun.

Busy, because I spent some time finding fabrics, sketching out a stocking, and arranging the fabrics to make the stocking reversible.

Challenging, because it was my very first self made Holiday Stocking. It was even more challenging, trying to make it reversible.

Fun, because it was Inspiring, and I completed the project. It turned out okay, not perfect, but I am looking forward to doing it again better.

Over the weekend, I was Grateful to have Celebrated another Doubled Digit of my life. I Celebrated with my family, and through God’s Grace we had plenty to eat, and drink. It was one of my BEST Birthday Celebration. God continues  being good to me, and my family.

Be Blessed,

Hi Everyone!

I’m Thankful as always to see another day, despite the weather. Today we are having a wet, and snowy day on my side of town.

My granddaughter, and I took time off to watch the snow fall. She never seems to take a day off from learning through play. Today’s Schedule was set by her, and on her list were Flash Cards, a Video as a review of things she knows, Free Play, and of course Naptime.

During her Naptime, I decided to go through fabrics, for an up coming project, by GOD’S GRACE. Here are some photos of the fabrics. One is a printed, and the other is mixed three in one.
