Wkend PROJECT

Hi Everyone!

I’m believing all is well and you all are having a Blessed Summer. I’m grateful for God’s Grace and Mercy each day as well as for strengthening me.

A friend of mine asked that I patch up her Granddaughters’s Overalls and I said no problem. She asked what would the cost be and I said nothing knowing how caring and giving she is to me. Her answer was okay I’ll bring it for you to look at and the next day she forgot. The following day she said my granddaughter said she just doesn’t want the overalls anymore. I told her to bring it in and I’ll do something with it for myself.

I love Tote Bags and and did think I could do any thing after seeing how worn the overalls were. It was was worth trying and God gave me the patience, creativity, and strength to complete the Tote. THANK YOU LORD!

Hello Everyone !

How is the weather on your side of town? My side of town is cold, therefore Im thankful The Good Lord gave me an idea for this project. I had both fabrics sitting for a while and couldn’t think of what to do with them. One of the fabrics  is velvet and the other wool pin stripe which are warm fabrics.

Neighborhood THRIFT

Hi Everyone!

I’m believing you all are well and Blessed as I’m on another Blessed Day. All THANKS TO God for His Grace and Mercy.

I just thought to share another quick and easy Weekend Project. I was at my Neighborhood THRIFT Store last weekend and purchased a chair the only one of its kind for $5.00 and it was a very good as well as heavy chair.

A while back I purchased a remnant piece of fabric to make a Throw Pillow and never did. Oh well I got to make use of it this weekend to redo the chair from last weekend.

Weekend CHALLENGE

Hi Everyone!

I’m grateful for God’s continuous Blessings, Grace, and Mercy towards me each day. He continues to provide all my needs and strengthening me each day.

I’m believing you all are being Blessed and enjoying each day.

I was recently asked to Redo some Old Cushions for a Rocking Chair and without hesitation I answered YES.

As I always say I’m a NOVICE in sewing but certainly do enjoy creating as I sew. I’ve never thought or excepted any project/projects from anyone, therefore this was was going to be a CHALLENGE as well as to do my very best showing myself approved.

I prayed asking God to assist me from the very first cut to the finished project. He surely did being the GOD that He is (loving, caring and Merciful).

My CARRY A L L

Posted on

Hi Everyone!

I’m believing all is well and Blessed with you all giving God the Glory  like me for making it throughout 2014. I’m grateful for Him/God strengthening me on this day to complete a project which I very much needed. I work with children and needed a Carry All Tote Bag that won’t cost too much.

Thank goodness for Scrappy Projects and I do use up scraps. I didn’t have enough of one particular fabric but mixing, blending, patching as well as piecing gave the size bag I needed. My total cost of fabrics and threads is under $10.00.

Here are what I had the most of:

The least:

I didn’t used a pattern simply created as I cut and sew. Here are some pics.
