FIRST Activity of 2013

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all are having a Blessed Day, and being mindful of writing 2013, and not 2012.

My granddaughter started 2013, by making a necklace using beads, not paper, and her favorite color Purple. I gave her some beads, and a string of Elastic Coil, and she randomly picked the beads to make her necklace.

The next activity we have been working on, is improving our Big Busy Block/Box of learning through play. My previous post showed the box in the making.

What a great grandmother you are! What you are doing is how I raised my kids, too. Lots of hands on learning. She is lucky to have a grandmother like you in her life 🙂

Your granddaughter is so blessed to have you taking care of her and sharing your creativity. I thought I was a pretty creative mom, but in just this one post I got so many ideas from you! I wish we had had a blogging world back then when my kids were little. I am going to tell my mom about your blog – she babysits her great-grandson who is 4, and will love your ideas too!
